The Zoo Visitors Association is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to improving conditions in American zoos and animal parks. Our approach is moderate. We love zoos and value their contributions to conservation and public awareness. But we are concerned about the way animals are sometimes kept. Our goal is to work for change, to bring attention to undesirable conditions through education and dialogue.
